Flight Arrivals at San José Airport
When you arrive at Juan Santamaría International Airport, pick up your baggage and other personal things at the appropriate baggage claim areas on the ground level of the building.
Please note that SJO has four baggage claim areas. Your bags will generally arrive very quickly. If you have not collected your baggage upon arrival, you must notify your airline, which will help you locate it.

SJO can be reached by bus, only following the same route as taking the public line Montezuma-San José from the airport. The trip takes about 20 minutes, and one-way tickets are less than $1.

Shared shuttles from nearby hotels are to the right as you exit the airport. You'll walk about 75 feet to your request, and the buses will stop directly in front of the cafe. There is no sign indicating their presence.
